Мы поступили просто, взяли прайс-лист на материнские платы и выбрали самую дешевую плату на современном чипсете Intel P45. Ею оказалась Asus P5Q.

Видеокарта GeForce 8800GT 512 Мб PCI-Express. Жесткий диск 320 Гб Seagate ST3320620NS. Блок питания 750 Вт Corsair TX750W. Итак, начнем с номинального режима.

Мод S.T.A.L.K.E.R. "Осознание", который вдруг с тамошними "улучшениями" просел с 2 до 14 FPS. Хотя, чистая версия Shadow of Chernobyl на моей тогда 8800GT тянула всё на максимуме, причём с вертикальной синхронизацией...
